Weekend Breaks and Days Away
Cornwall is a dream holiday location all year round; be it in the height of the balmy summer months, lazing on the beautiful beaches or walking the coastal footpaths wrapped up against the elements, watching the waves crashing against the rugged coastline. Cornwall enjoys a mild climate and spring and autumn can be an ideal time to enjoy a holiday cottage in Cornwall as we often enjoy fine periods of weather at those times of year. So why not visit us for a short break as all our cottages are available all year - enquire for prices and availability.
Arrival and Departure
Your holiday cottage will be available for you from 3pm on the day of your arrival but should you arrive early, please check with our office before taking occupancy. Please ensure you vacate the accommodation and car parking space (if provided) by 10am latest on the day of your departure.
Car Parking
Many towns in Cornwall have many narrow winding streets with restricted car use.
Built for the horse and cart rather than to accommodate modern traffic, unless stated in the brochure, the accommodation you have chosen may not have a designated car parking space and it will be necessary for you to use one of the public car parks.
Although some of our cottages offer parking, please appreciate that the spaces and garages may be quite restricted in size. If this proves to be a problem, please accept our apologies.
Many of the garages and car spaces provided are a distance from the holiday cottage locations. However, on a more positive note, this helps in making many places in Cornwall relatively free from passing traffic and in turn making it quieter and much safer for pedestrians and visitors alike.
Pets
Many holiday cottages welcome pets at a small additional charge of £20 per pet per week. Out of respect for our other holiday makers, please note some common senserequests; to ensure pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, that they are not left alone in the accommodation and that pet hairs are removed from carpets before you leave and they do not foul the garden.
Heating
Please note the heating systems in the holiday cottages are not turned on until the 1st October and turned off on 1st April. The majority of our cottages have individual backup heaters for your comfort out of the winter season.
Barbecues and Log Fires/Burners
If the holiday cottage that you have booked provides either a barbecue or working fireplace, we respectfully point out that the cleanliness of these items is the responsibility of the departing guest that has used them and not the cottage cleaner.
Insurance
For your peace of mind we have arranged a very competitive insurance scheme to cover all party members, available at the time of booking.
Special Needs
Please contact the local office covering the area of your accommodation if you require level access or wheelchair access etc. Many of the cottages have restricted or difficult access and an initial enquiry will ensure your accommodation meets your needs.
